For your Dog to start walking with us, Or to provide Pet Services, he/she needs to have all the required vaccinations (puppy/kitty jabs, booster vaccinations, kennel cough) and recommended Flea Tick & Worm Control. For the initial assessment we will ask to see a valid vaccination certificate. Please have this at hand. We also prefer that you have your own pets insurance.
Make a list of any special needs or unusual habits your pet(s) may have, allergies, hiding places, car sickness & any health problems, be sure all instructions are listed.
You must also disclose of anything that has been done to him/her (car accident, dog/cat fights, spayed, neutered ect).
You must disclose all previous incidents that has been caused by your dog (chewing on furniture, soiling indoors, snapping, growling, excessive barking, biting people or other animals, running off and being away for hours etc).
Prepare an Itinerary including Work phone numbers, Mobile numbers and Email address that you would like us to contact you at. We would require a copy of this as well as leaving a copy in plain sight in the house we will need your Vets name address and number plus written permission & authorization for your pet to receive emergency medical attention if necessary, we need at least two emergency contacts (Family, Friends or Neighbours).
We may require a spare house key, which at all times will be kept, locked, number coded and kept in a safe secure place.
If parking metre charges apply when visiting clients premises the client must pay for pay & display metre charges.
City Pooch Walks reserve the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns or inappropriate or uncomfortable conditions.
City Pooch Walks will make every effort to safeguard your pet however we will not be held responsible for any injury/illness to your pet(s) unless we can be shown to be negligent.
City Pooch Walks will not be held liable for any injury/illness/damages to your pet or property out with our care.
Please ensure all windows front/back doors are securely locked.
City Pooch Walks reserve the right to cancel any walks, boarding’s or visits at any time for any infestations or contagious infections.
If your dog has come into SEASON you must notify us immediately so that provisions can be made. Bitches in season do not go on dog walks until season has ended.
Dogs or Bitches over the age of 9 months that are not Spayed or Neutered are not accepted in Host Families homes.
Dogs and Cats Must be dressed with suitable collar and ID tags supplied with contact number & address and along with suitable lead.
1 weeks notice must be given of any Cancellations of Dog Walking or Pet Care Services.
City Pooch Walks will notify in plenty time and in writing to any changes of price increase of any dog walking & pet care services.
